Quality Systems Director - Baltimore based manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Quality Systems Director to oversee the quality effort in their multi-plant bakeries. The ideal candidate must have 10 years industry experience, be a self-starter and be able to manage and direct others. Must have the highest quality standards met at all times in all locations to meet vendor requirements/product quality guidelines.

Job Description

•  Responsible for all aspects of product quality standards. Ensuring that all plants are practicing the same quality measures daily and continuously correcting quality shortfalls and improving quality where needed.
•  SPC data collection, process measurements, process analysis, reporting and recommendations for improvement.
•  Weekly Product quality evaluation
•  Monthly Quality System Audits
•  Evaluating customer complaints and providing solutions
•  Tracking key measures for continuous improvement
•  Facilitate external and internal Customer Satisfaction Surveys and propose areas for improvement
•  Monitor all internal audits, completed and on timely basis
•  Monitor and adhere to all external audit expectations/guidelines
•  Weekly Standard Operating Procedures Verifications (S.O.P.’s)
•  Create ongoing training for new and senior employees
•  Some travel to regional bakery locations required
